A device designed to deliver a mild electric shock to remind the user to stand up after sitting for prolonged periods.

Explanation

Since sitting is often referred to as the new smoking, I decided to create a product that encourages people to avoid sitting for prolonged periods

Building this device was an interesting experiment, as I had never disassembled an electric flyswatter or programmed using the Arduino IDE before. It made me realize that you can easily design other uses for already existing appliances.
